Mentoring Alliance

Our Christ-centered mentoring programs are designed to help kids thrive, because every child matters. They also have fun worship times and daily Bible studies.

The Mentoring Alliance is a Christ-centered, intentionally multi-ethnic ministry. We exist to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, to provide tangible help and eternal hope. The TMA staff operates through the three mentoring ministries that together form The Mentoring Alliance:

The Mentoring Alliance After School-Boys & Girls Clubs of East Texas provides safe, fun, education

al, and enriching after-school programs for children ages kindergarten through 5th grade. Located at 23 different schools throughout East Texas, our after-school programs are designed to benefit the academic, social, physical, spiritual and emotional development of our children. Mentor Connect is the one-on-one volunteer mentoring program of The Mentoring Alliance. Our Mentor Connect Coordinators connect godly, adult volunteer mentors from local area churches with students from targeted local area schools in mutually transforming mentoring relationships. MA Summer Camps is the summer camp program of The Mentoring Alliance. In this exciting summer camp, godly camp counselor mentors lead hundreds of students each and every day. They combat summer learning regression by creating a structured and fun learning environment.

Big news! 🎉

We are excited to partner with as a recipient of a $250,000 grant aimed at building a healthier future for our community.

Their question was: "What would it take for the youth of Smith County to be more connected with one another, their families, and their community without the use of technology?"

Mentoring Alliance is honored to be part of a cohort that will work together over the next several years to help answer this question and invest in meaningful connections for local youth.

What an incredible day at Moore Middle School! 🎊

Thanks to a partnership between Mentoring Alliance, Senator Bryan Hughes, and AT&T, 50 campers received laptops to support their educational journey. These devices will provide valuable tools for learning, creativity, and future success.
We are grateful for community partners who share our commitment to empowering students and investing in the leaders of tomorrow!

Right at Home does so much more than provide in-home care and assistance, they are also helping change the lives of kids in our community. Through their generous support, 100 kids were able to attend Mentoring Alliance Summer Camp at Moore Middle School.
