📚 DID YOU KNOW?

Your $10 Friends of the Tyler Public Library membership does more than support your local library — it helps keep library programs FREE for everyone in our community!

From children’s story times, STEAM activities, and take-home kits to adult painting classes, computer literacy programs, summer reading, genealogy resources, and so much more, your donations help make these opportunities possible.

✨ So, where does your $10 go? It helps fund the programs, supplies, and resources that bring our library to life and create opportunities for readers, learners, and families of all ages.

When you become a member of the Friends of the Tyler Public Library, you’re investing in a stronger, more connected community — one book, one program, and one reader at a time.

Want to be a part of the Friends making a difference for the Tyler Public Library? 📚

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is growing and looking for board members to carry out our expansion.

The Friends is a working Board, which means our board members have key responsibilities in elected and committee roles, including membership, social media marketing, fundraising, finances, event planning, and stewardship.

We’re looking for people who have the capability and capacity to fill these working roles. Previous board experience is preferred, with professional ties to core responsibilities. Maybe you’re a current professional with a skill you’d like to put to work in the community. Maybe you’re retired and have years of experience, relationships, and time to share.

If that sounds like you—or someone you know—we encourage you to apply!

📅 Applications are open through September.

👉 Apply here: https://form.jotform.com/261813937342056

Come be part of the team helping support, strengthen, and champion the Tyler Public Library.

Have a card? Enjoy!
Don’t have one? There’s no better time to get one!

For more information about a library card or an e-access card visit: https://www.tylerlibrary.com/Using-the-Library/Get-a-Library-Card

Stop by this month and discover all the adventures waiting for you at your local library!

Note a library card is not a Friends membership.
