It was such a lovely evening at Liberty Hall last night. We started by stepping back into Smith County in the 1930s, then into the founding of the East Texas Symphony Orchestra, and ended by hearing from the Symphony’s director and maestro about how it’s evolved over the past 90 years and what’s ahead. Being in a room full of people connecting and sharing in that story was really special. We also had the chance to recognize JB Smith for 50 years of service to our community!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support, learn, and be part of it. Nights like this are what it’s all about.
As we head toward East Texas Giving Day on April 28, we’d love to keep this kind of programming going.
