The Camp Fannin Association has cancelled the Reunion and Annual meeting scheduled for Sept 11, 12 ,2020. The new Dates will be August 21 & 22, 2020. The agenda and times will remain the same Take care and God Bless.

Due to the Corona virus and the needs required to make every attempt to prevent the spread among the people across our state and our great country The Camp Fannin Association has cancelled the Reunion and Annual meeting scheduled for April 17 & 18,2020. At this time we are looking at possible dates in September. Stay in touch as we will post this information as soon as we know. Take care and God Bless.

The sounds of mortars exploding and machine gun fire were a fact of life for part of Smith County in the last years of World War II, when a massive training camp occupied part of the northeast reaches of the county.

After such a long struggle to recapture the Camp Fannin Roll of Honor I can say that though it is a work in progress you may now view the roll as it is reconstructed.

We add names of Camp Fannin veterans who died in uniform during World War II and make corrections continuously to our Roll of Honor as new information is provided.
