1956 Buick Centurion😍🔥

The 1956 Buick Centurion concept car. This one-of-a-kind "dream car" was introduced at the 1956 General Motors Motorama show to showcase futuristic design and technology.

Key features and innovations of the car include:
Design It featured an aircraft-inspired, two-tone red (or pink) and white fiberglass body with a transparent "bubble top" canopy roof. Its dramatic tailfins and jet-inspired taillights influenced later production models like the 1959 Chevrolets and Buicks.

Rearview Camera The Centurion was the first car to feature a television camera mounted in the tail cone that transmitted images to a screen on the dashboard, eliminating the need for a conventional rearview mirror.

Interior The aviation theme extended to the interior with a cantilevered steering wheel and front seats that automatically slid back when the doors opened for easier entry and exit. It also featured early examples of bucket seats in an American car.
