I Am Beautiful Movement We help girls grow in confidence, build relationships, and value themselves from within. You will hear God's Word!

I started I Am Beautiful Movement™ in July 2013 by hosting a back to school event for girls and young ladies to motivate and encourage them that beauty comes from the inside and God created each one of us in His image and likeness!! This is a free and fun event for junior high, high school, & college girls! We also, encourage mothers and daughters to attend together for a time of bonding. We provide lunch, age-appropriate makeovers/age-appropriate clothing, fashion tips, prizes and we have a speaker. I Am Beautiful Movement under the auspices of Empowerment Community Development Corporation 501c3

We’re a day late, but celebrating our girls is never out of season! 💕
International Day of the Girl speaks to the heart of I Am Beautiful Movement, creating spaces where girls feel seen, supported, and confident in who they are.

As a mother-daughter organization, we believe in women pouring into the next generation, building healthy relationships, and reminding our girls they don’t have to be anyone other than themselves to be worthy.

To every girl: your voice matters, your story matters, and your future matters. We’re cheering you on, not just today, but every day.
Take a moment to encourage a girl in your life. She needs to know you believe in her!

Charm Your Story! 💕
Our girls and moms got to tell their stories one charm at a time yesterday! Keona Mccowin, Let’s Create with K helped them create bracelets and keychains with charms that represented them and the things they love.

I Am Beautiful Movement started with a mother and daughter, so seeing other moms and daughters creating together and making memories means so much to us. And yes, we enjoyed picking out our charms just as much as the girls did! 😊

Our president and co-founder, Destini Jordan, joined KETK NBC East Texas Living today to share what’s ahead at the 13th Annual I Am Beautiful Movement Workshop, a day of confidence, connection, and conversations about friendship and relationships.
Bring your daughters, mentees, nieces, and cousins! This FREE event welcomes girls in 5th–12th grades, moms, and college and young adult women.
