Meet Melena! She is a DSH mix with an estimated birth date of 6/27/24. Melena and her 3 littermates have spent the last 10 weeks in our care growing and getting healthy while our staff has provided them with veterinary care. She is what we would consider your typical playful kitten and she would love a home that can keep up with her energy! Please apply to adopt Melena by going to www.spcaeasttx.com!

We have a BIG thank you to give to Kellina Hall & family for once again coming to the rescue! These 3 kittens were brought to our care with their umbilical cords still attached. They are critical due to being newborns but we know they are in good hands possible!

UPDATE:
You may remember sweet Sissy and pups from last week. She was dumped in the county and gave birth on the doorstep of a Good Samaritan's home. The Shepherd litter aka the "Bluey Litter" are all doing well and are now 5 weeks old. Momma Sissy is very well mannered, housebroken and even knows some basic commands. Rescue pets are the best. Check out our adoptables at www.spcaeasttx.com.
