From serving as President of the Philmont Staff Association, to his current role as Chairman of the East Texas Area Council Boy Scout Foundation, and as Immediate Past Council President, John continues to leave a lasting impact on Scouts, leaders, and families across East Texas and beyond.

The East Texas Area Council is so proud of our own David Bush for being recognized with the Silver Antelope Award for service to the Council Service Territory level.

David served as the CST8 Venturing Advisor in addition to serving Venturing through his role in VESSI hosting at the National Jamboree and the committee chairman for two different crews in WoHaLi District.

David is also a former council board member and the Scoutmaster of the 2014 Wood Badge course. Please join us in congratulating Mr. Bush!
