The AFP East Texas Chapter is designed to foster the professional development of fundraising professionals and promotes ethical standards in the fundraising profession. We have nearly 70 active AFP members, who serve as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, nonprofit executives, and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy. East Texas Chapter has regularly scheduled educational lunch meetings featuring local and national speakers on topics relevant to everyday development work. The chapter also offers additional educational and networking opportunities including member socials, local roundtables, fundraising seminars and an National Philanthropy Day® celebration.
