This is sure to be a great event with a powerful message!
We are so excited to host the one and only Derek Webb next Thursday, December 11! Derek will be performing songs from his most recent album "Survival Songs." Here's how he describes this album:
“As an artist, citizen, and dad of teens, let me tell you what I see when I look at the world today: q***r people, especially q***r kids, are in imminent danger and desperately need a soundtrack to comfort, encourage, and empower them. I’ve written and recorded an entire album that seeks to do just that. It’s called Survival Songs and I can't wait to share it with you live.”
The concert will be at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Tyler. Doors open at 7:30pm, and the show starts at 8pm. Tickets available at the Eventbrite link below, just pay what you can $5-$20. LGBTQ+ teens (18 and under) can attend this show, and any show on the Survival Songs tour, for FREE. Just select “LGBTQ+ Teen Ticket” at checkout.
Parking at UUFT is limited, but there is additional parking available across the street at Fairwood UMC.
