Some awards find the right recipient, and this is certainly one of them. There has never been anyone more deserving than Officer Chuck Boyce. Our hats are off to him for a career defined by integrity, dedication, and selfless service. They simply don't make them any better. Congratulations, buddy, on a truly well-deserved recognition. It's an honor that reflects the impact you've had on your department, your community, and everyone who's had the privilege of serving alongside you. Well earned.

Today at the Texas State Capitol,
Sgt. Chuck Boyce was presented with
the Achievement Award for Public
Service by the Texas Commission on
Law Enforcement.

This is not a small thing.

TCOLE's Achievement Award for Public
Service recognizes officers whose
dedication to their communities goes
beyond the badge and beyond the
shift. Officers who show up not
because they have to but because
they understand what this work
actually means.

Sgt. Boyce is that officer.

His commitment to Tyler, to the
people he serves, and to the
profession he represents has been
visible every day he has worn this
uniform. This award does not
surprise anyone who has worked
alongside him or been served by him.

It just makes it official.

TPA is proud of Sgt. Chuck Boyce.
Tyler PD is better because he
is part of it.

It has been an absolute privilege for the members of the Tyler Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 883 to work alongside Mayor Don Warren over the past decade. His positive spirit, warm smile, and charismatic leadership left a lasting impression wherever he went. We are grateful for his support and partnership over the years and wish him nothing but success and happiness in his future endeavors.
