Tyler Together Race Relations was honored to be part of a powerful MLK Celebration & Spoken Word Competition that uplifted voices, creativity, and truth through poetry and performance. The energy, messages, and talent shared were a beautiful reminder that Dr. King’s legacy lives on through expression, courage, and community connection.

🖤 Special thank you to Michael (Mike) Gunn of Mike Gunn Entertainment for coordinating and hosting an impactful evening that created space for inspiration, artistry, and dialogue. We are grateful for your leadership and commitment to celebrating our voices and our stories.

✨ Join Us for the Annual MLK Parade & Celebration ✨

Tyler Together Race Relations invites the entire community to come together on January 19, 2026 as we honor the life, legacy, and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through unity, service, and celebration.

🕊 Theme:
Mission Possible II: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way

📍 Event Schedule:
• Pre-March Program: 9:00 AM | Marvin Methodist Church
• Parade Begins: Immediately following the pre-march program
• Main Program: 10:00 AM | Cathedral
