about more racial equality. Our Mission: “The Tyler Together Race Relations Forum will promote understanding among the various ethnic groups and encourage diversity by providing venues for open and frank discussions relating to racial equality.”

Check out the Tyler ISD Student Artwork submitted for competition and exhibition for the next month in honor of Dr Martin Luther King’s life and legacy! The following photos only hint at the amazing work by Tyler’s elementary and Middle School art classes, on display at the Tyler Public Library!

The following are the winners of student art awards, their schools and art instructors.

Elementary: 1st - McKenzie Henderson (Clarkston - K. Robinson); 2d - Lillian Cruz (Clarkston - K. Robinson); 3d - Allie Landers (Owens - D. Waters)

Middle: 1st -Colton Zolkoski; (3 Lakes - Kisemore); 2d - Benjamin R. Lopez (Moore - Amanda Dunn); (3d - Terranique Wallace (Boulter - Ms Bell).

Special thanks to Jerry Parker and Sue Erwin Parker for their generous volunteer hours and efforts helping install the exhibit!
