Promise Academy Welcoming Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students to the 2025-2026 school year!

THE NEED

The families of North Tyler are interested in quality academic options. While Tyler's public schools are striving for improvement, many families are under-served or disenfranchised in their neighborhood schools. Tyler’s charter schools operate on a lottery system and are far from this community, south of the loop. The abundance of private schools in Tyler are all south of Front Street, a

nd most of them are also south of the loop. Even if these schools were more geographically accessible, the financial chasm between already reduced tuition and the reality of many families is often impassible. Families are left hoping that their sons and daughters are accepted to one of the magnet elementary schools or “win the lottery” at one of the charter schools. THE MISSION

Cultivating wise, creative, and compassionate leaders through exemplary Christ-centered education in North Tyler for the joy of our city and the glory of God. THE VISION

Promise Academy is founded on the conviction that all children are created for God’s glory and endowed by Him with an undeniable potential to acquire wisdom and knowledge. We join families in equipping their children to become responsible servant-leaders of the 21st Century, striving to create a school culture that is committed to the truth, discipline, and values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We work to mobilize educational, business, church, and community leaders toward the goal of serving the children of Tyler with an excellent education. This inter-denominational school will seek to raise up kingdom citizens who work for justice, economic opportunity, racial harmony, hope for the family, and joy in their communities.

Today we celebrate a special milestone as our fifth graders complete this chapter and prepare for the next. We are so proud of how much they’ve grown—not only academically, but in character, faith, and confidence.

A special thank you to Mrs. Duran for the love, leadership, encouragement, and dedication she poured into this class during their final elementary year. ❤️

We also want to thank all of the teachers who have walked alongside these students throughout the years. From the early foundations to the lessons that shaped who they are today, your time, prayers, patience, and investment have made a lasting impact.

What a joy it has been to watch this sweet class learn, grow, and shine throughout the year! From first letters and numbers to big milestones and even bigger smiles, these students have accomplished so much.

A special thank you to Mrs. Marshall for pouring so much love, patience, encouragement, and dedication into each child this year. The seeds planted in this classroom will continue to grow for years to come. ❤️

Before the school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate two incredible women at Promise Academy! 🎉

Congratulations to our Head of School, Sarah Cu***ng, and our first-grade teacher, Jessica Rocha, on receiving their Master of Arts in School Leadership from Baylor University!

Their dedication to learning, leading, and pouring into the lives of our students is such a blessing to our school community. We are so proud of their hard work and this amazing accomplishment! 💙💛
