After receiving all of her veterinary care, Elinor found her forever home with the Pinal family. Congratulations to Elinor and her new family!

Ash is a sweet and silly Mini Australian Shepherd mix—and yes, you heard that right! His mom is a Mini Aussie, and we believe his dad was a terrier mix. That unique combination gives Ash the brains of an Aussie, the spunky charm of a terrier, and enough playful energy to keep a smile on your face every day.Born around March 14, 2026, Ash is still a young puppy with lots of growing and learning ahead of him.

Ash loves to play, explore, and then snuggle up for cuddles when it's time to recharge. He's currently working on house training and crate training and will thrive with a family committed to helping him learn and grow through patience, consistency, and love.

Because of his active puppy nature, Ash would do best with a family that can keep him engaged and provide plenty of playtime. A securely fenced yard and kids to play with would be a bonus!

Ash is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and will be neutered soon. Now all he needs is a forever family to call his own.

Apply to adopt Ash at www.spcaeasttx.com.

GRAB THE TISSUES.

Some dogs arrive carrying more than physical scars. Lucy (left) arrived carrying a lifetime of missed experiences.

Rescued from a hoarding situation and used as a puppy mill breeder dog, Lucy had spent her life knowing little beyond the walls of a kennel. Human touch was unfamiliar. The outdoors were a mystery. Every sound, every experience, every act of kindness was something she had never truly known. Shy, timid, and frightened, Lucy faced a world that seemed overwhelming.

Then everything changed.

Foster mom Hayley Cox and her amazing crew of littles opened their hearts and home to Lucy. With patience, consistency, and endless love, they helped her discover that people could be trusted, that gentle hands bring comfort, and that life could be full of joy instead of fear. Day by day, Lucy transformed from a terrified dog who wanted to hide from the world into a confident, happy canine ready to embrace it.

Watching Lucy blossom has been nothing short of remarkable, and we are so grateful for Hayley’s expertise, dedication, and belief in what rescue dogs can become when given a chance.

When Jill and James Gribben met Lucy, it felt like fate. They were amazed by how much she resembled Boss, the dog they adopted in March 2026. As second-time adopters, the Gribben's already understood the power of rescue—and they knew Lucy belonged with them.

Today, Lucy has the family she always deserved. A dog who once knew only confinement now knows love, comfort, security, and belonging. Her story is a beautiful reminder that no matter where a dog starts, with patience and compassion, a brighter future is always possible.

Thank you to Holly & Sonny Krezdorn for sponsoring Lucy's adoption.

Happy tails, sweet Lucy. Your new life has only just begun.

Mrs. Butterworth’s is searching for a loving new home. She is a 7-year-old, 11 lb indoor cat with a gentle, easygoing personality. Well-mannered and litterbox trained, she is the definition of a perfect house cat who simply wants a soft bed—or a warm lap—to curl up in.

She is used to drinking from a water fountain and was deeply loved by her previous owner. Mrs. B enjoys being petted, is comfortable being held, and is happiest when she’s close to her people. While she can be shy around large dogs, she may do well with a calm, respectful dog who gives her space.

If you’d like to give Mrs. Butterworth’s the loving home she needs, please complete an adoption application at www.spcaeasttx.com.

ADOPTED!!!

From stray to cherished family member — Luna’s story is one of rescue, love, and perfect timing.

When Luna was found as a stray in Lindale, her future was uncertain. Thankfully, Floyd and Mason G., two-time adopters and longtime friends of rescue, stepped up to help. With the support of their SPCA alumni pups, Koda and Krypto, Floyd and Mason fostered Luna and gave her a safe place to land while she waited for her forever family.

That family came in the form of Lauren and LJ, who instantly knew Luna was meant to be theirs. Today, Luna is living her best life with her new best friend Finn and a crew of human siblings who adore her. From lonely stray to beloved family member, Luna now has everything every dog deserves — love, companionship, adventure, and a place to call home.

Stories like Luna’s remind us that rescue truly takes a village. Thank you to Floyd, Mason, Koda, Krypto, Lauren, LJ, Finn, and everyone who helped turn Luna’s journey into a happily-ever-after.

She is in need of a new home soon because her family is moving and cannot take her!

Give this sweet girl a new home! Apply to adopt Rosie at www.spcaeasttx.com!

This beautiful mama and her two precious puppies were picked up by a Good Samaritan after she saw them being abandoned near Highway 31 in Tyler, Texas. They look to be Pyrenees mixes. Instead of knowing safety and love, this sweet family was tossed out and left dodging traffic.

Before we could even start their veterinary care, everyone needed a much-needed bath to remove the hundreds of fleas covering their bodies, along with countless ticks. Despite everything, this gentle mama remained trusting and patient, allowing us to help her and her babies.

Mama has been named Maggie, and her two big, handsome boys are Max and Duke. They are incredibly grateful to be safe, loved, and cared for, and their sweet, easygoing personalities are already showing!

Maggie and her puppies are not quite ready for adoption. They will continue receiving veterinary care, and all three will be altered soon. The boys are only 10 weeks old and already HUGE! Maggie is estimated to be around 1.5 years old and believe it or not is underweight weighing 80 lbs.

If you would like to help Maggie, Max, and Duke on their road to recovery, donations toward their veterinary care are greatly appreciated. We are also in need of IAMS Puppy Food and IAMS Adult Dog Food to help feed their hungry appetite.

Thank you for helping us give this deserving little family the second chance they so needed!

Thank you KETK! Once again, this amazing team spent their annual Founders Day volunteering with us, and we are so grateful. Providing daily care for dozens of dogs and cats is hard, often unglamorous work, and our volunteers make all the difference. And a shout out to KETK Tori Bean for helping to spread the word about our mission and programs live on the air! We appreciate you ALL!
