PAUL is not amused by his annual vet visit today. Because he’s been with us over a year, he needs to get his annual exam. He will soon join the crew at the cat lounge so everyone can meet this handsome sweet boy.

Thank you to whomever sent us a pet carrier from our wishlist. It was needed today to load up several cats for a single trip vet visit!

Hey cat people, meet ZOE (with the mustache) and COLE, who seems to believe that everyone needs to hear his opinions on everything!

These adorable siblings were found together in the woods with no mom around. They will be available for adoption in a few weeks when they are old enough for their vetting. But for now, just enjoy their cow-spotted cuteness!

Here's a sneak peak at TRES LECHES, who will be available for adoption soon!

This handsome 1 year old tuxedo boy is FIV+ from life on the streets, but he clearly had human friends at one point because he is sooo sweet and mellow and loves to get all the pets. He gets along with the other cats in his foster home and is slowly adjusting to the resident dog. He does seem to startle easily, so his foster believes he has a some trauma from his former street life. 😿

Remember, FIV is not a death sentence. FIV+ cats who are spayed/neutered, kept indoors, and get regular vet care can live normal, healthy lives and can live with other cats. They just have weakened immune systems and should not be exposed to unvaccinated or ill cats.

Summer is upon us and with that comes extra stress on rescues like us.
1) Adoptions are at a stand-still as many people begin their summer vacations.
2) Foster families are also going on vacations so we are losing fosters, sometimes temporarily.
3) Kitten season is in overdrive.

What can you do to help? ADOPT. FOSTER. DONATE. SHARE. SPAY & NEUTER.

There are several low-cost options in our area for help spaying and neutering. Rescues are full and most cannot help without foster homes and donations. Contact Tyler Animal Control if all else fails. If you don’t want to help a cat in need, that’s your option.

HAROLD HAMM might take a minute to warm up to new people, but once he does, he is an affectionate and playful little guy. Harold is very social with the other cats and the resident dog in his current foster home, so he probably needs at least one other pet friend in his forever home. Subtle hint: He has several buddies available for adoption!

Harold is around 8 months old and fully vetted.

MIA HAMM is at the hospital this week. She was almost ready for adoption when her foster noticed Mia developed a wonky walk. She’s getting some tests runs including x-rays. There’s definitely some abnormalities in her lower spine causing some lameness and unfortunately she currently needs her bladder expressed as she cannot urinate on her own. Donations and prayers appreciated.

Mia came to us last December when an entire ginger family was found hanging out behind a volunteer’s property. All the kittens were caught and the adults were TNR’d. Her sister Susie Hamm has been adopted. Her brothers Jon Hamm and Harold Hamm are available for adoption. omalleyalleycatrescue.com

Two of our bestest boys, ELI (tabby with white, age 3) and APPLEJACK (age 2). Both of these sweet boys have been with us since they were babies. Eli greets everyone who comes to the lounge (and often escorts visitors on tours), but somehow he is never chosen. Applejack is a little more reserved with new people, but once he knows you, he is very friendly and loving. Both cats are fun and love to play, too.

While they are not a bonded pair, Eli and Applejack get along with each other very well and would be a great pair adopted together.
