We are excited to announce that our Annual ETAPL Awards & Scholarship Dinner will be held at Willow Brook Country Club on Wednesday, March 1st at 6:00 p.m. We will begin with Happy Hour in the Main Bar at 6:00, be seated for dinner at 7:00 with awards presentation around 7:30. Registration is now open, please make your reservations early.

This month our guest speaker is the AAPL President, Carl D. Campbell, CPL. Carl is a native of Oklahoma City and an alumnus of the University of Oklahoma. He is a co-founder and COO of Alamo Resources LLC and has extensive industry experience in the Gulf Coast, Mid-Continent, and Rocky Mountain regions of the United States and in Canada. Campbell was elected to the Houston Association of Professional Landmen board of directors in 2004 and a past president of the organization, was honored with HAPL's Outstanding Landman of the Year in 2011 and AAPL's Landman of the Year in 2018. Our guest speaker, Brian Thomas, Partner and CEO of Carbon Rho, LLC will provide a presentation on the growing carbon credit industry. Mr. Thomas is the former Texas operations leader for a global consulting firm that consisted of a multi-disciplinary team of over 80 engineers and scientists in seven offices across the state. He has over 23 years of experience in environmental engineering for energy sector clients and was a former principal/co-owner of a leading environmental consulting firm based in Austin. Mr. Thomas holds a BS in Biosystems Engineering from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. While at SMU, Brian played a leadership role with the Maguire Energy Institute evaluating how firms were planning to navigate the on-going energy transition as well as associated ESG-related threats and opportunities.
