💜 We are excited to announce a new resource for our East Texas community. 💜
The HEARTS LOSS Team will be launching a Su***de Loss Bereavement Group beginning Tuesday, September 8th.
Losing someone to su***de can bring a kind of grief that is incredibly complex and often difficult for others to fully understand. Survivors may find themselves navigating unanswered questions, complicated emotions, stigma, isolation, and a grief journey that can feel very different from other types of loss.
You should not have to navigate that journey alone.
Our hope is to create a safe, compassionate space where those who have lost a loved one to su***de can connect with others who understand, share when they are ready, listen when they aren't, and find support as they learn to carry their loss forward.

🔹 In-person only
🔹 Open to the public — you do NOT have to be an Andrews Center client to attend.
Our first meeting will be September 8th, and there is no expectation that you have to talk or share your story before you're ready. Sometimes simply being in a room with people who get it can be an important part of healing.
Please help us spread the word so this resource reaches the people who may need it. Share this post with your friends, family, clinicians, community organizations, churches, first responders, and anyone else who may encounter someone grieving a su***de loss.
