Don't give them cow's milk.

Don't give them puppy milk.

Don't give them breast milk.

Place them in a kennel or ventilated box with a blanket or old shirt.

Put a heating pad under half.

Don't try to give them water or food. They may aspirate and get pneumonia. They may get an upset tummy from improper food and get bloat or diarrhea- both of which can be fatal.

Our first wild babies of 2025 have arrived!
This pair of Southern flying squirrels became orphans when their mom was accidentally killed. The finder acted quickly to scoop them up and get them warm, then reached out for help.
2025 promises to be our busiest year yet!

It's starting to get cold in Texas, & we need a few items so we can prepare the animals overwintering with us 🥶 items that we are needing: bedding, tarps, & heat-reflective blankets. We also are in need of towels, laundry detergent, and paper towels. These are listed on our Amazon wishlist posted in the comments. 💚

Also, we still need to hit our goal of $1,000 for the vet bill we previously posted about. With the amount of followers we have on our page, if everyone were to donate between $2 and $5 each, we could hit this goal quickly. We are so thankful to everyone who has already donated. This mama skunk and her babies have earned their freedom! These are the ones we took in a few weeks ago after mama was hit by a car 🩵 she is all healed up and ready to get back to her wild life! 😊🦨

We are still raising funds to cover the surgeries for the possum we shared last week and now this possum as well. 🏥 This sweet baby girl was also hit by a car, and is suffering from a broken leg. She had surgery to place pins in her leg, and will be in a splint for several weeks. Her recovery is going well, and we are doing everything we can to pay their vet bills ❤️‍🩹. This season promises to be a busy one as animals are preparing for winter ❄️ and are running into more conflicts with people. Can you help us care for these, and all the others we anticipate? We are raising money for this possum's surgery and we could really use your help. Sadly, he was hit by a car and is suffering a broken jaw along with other head trauma. Please consider donating so we can cover his vet bill! He needs to get back to living his wild life. We need to reach $1,000 by early November. This sweet mama skunk was hit by a car. She was brought in and we were able to keep her two babies with her while she heals 💙💚💛🦨
