It’s Inside Shopping Day at the Food Shelf this afternoon from 3:00 - 6:00PM. Please note: we’ll be closed as of 6:00PM so our volunteers can clean-up the space and head out shortly after we close. If you can’t make it in time to complete your selections before 6:00 PM today, you are welcome to come by and pick up an emergency food box of non-perishable items by calling us at 218-391-8191.

Eleven days left to support your local food shelf with a cash or non-perishable food donations during our biggest fundraiser of the year: the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign. Once again during the March Campaign, through the generosity of the United Church of Two Harbors and the outstanding talents of local musicians, we’ll enjoy an afternoon of 🎵Music to Feed the Soul 🎶 and show how much we care. One in every five of our neighbors struggles to put food on their table. Come to the concert and appreciate the awesome performers who donate their time and talent in support of ending hunger in our community. March 1st was the first official day of the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign! The March Campaign is the annual fundraiser for food shelves statewide that raises both hunger awareness as well as well as critically needed funds for food shelves. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. Please consider making a financial contribution or a donation of non-perishable items today thru April 6th. Donations made during the March Campaign have the power of being proportionally matched through the MN Food Share Program. Thank you so much for your help! Getting To Know THAFS

Two Harbors Area Food Shelf (formerly Lake County Food Shelf) is a not for profit business serving our neighbors for over 30 years. A board of directors governs the organization, with a full time Executive Director and two contracted staff. Nearly 120 volunteers ensure the success of meeting our mission on an annual basis. Last year 101, 023 pounds of food was provided to over 3,460 individuals throughout Lake and Northeastern St Louis counties.
