Hard to believe that another season of AYSO soccer is in the books! We hope that you and your favorite player had an amazing season.
AYSO is a 100% volunteer run organization, and it takes a village to get things set up and running each season. We would like to take a moment to thank ALL of our volunteers for another job well done! We appreciate all of the time that you have given to AYSO, the players, families, and the Twinsburg soccer community. We could not have done it without you!
To Our Coaches: 10 weeks with a practice and game each week equals at least 20 hours of volunteer service to the community. We appreciate all of your time and efforts.
A Special Thanks to Our Coaches who have coached for over 5 years:
Brian Heskamp (14 years)
Lia Odom (11 years)
Danny Martin (9 years)
Pete Daly (8 years)
Amy Forrestal (7 years)
A Special Thanks to Our Board:
Joe Koudelka (Registrar): Joe has been a constant over the past 30 years in our Registrar position. I cannot even begin to count the hours. We appreciate his devotion to the program and wish him the best moving forward.
Chad Cummings (Coach Admin/Scheduler): Chad has 15 years of volunteer service in the program. While work commitments forced him to take a more supportive role this Fall, he was still crucial for our game scheduling and general organization of projects within the league.
Patty Mold (CVPA/WebMaster): Patty is another one we could not live without! With over 15 years of volunteer service to AYSO, she has helped in so many ways. You know her as the individual who makes sure everyone has their training and certification done in order to keep all of the coaches, players, and referees safe out on the field.
Gary Fiedtkou (Equipment Coordinator): Those soccer equipment bags have to be put together and updated each season, and Gary has had that role for nearly 1o years. Thanks to Gary for his organization and continued service to the program.
Lia Odom (Coach/Tournament Coordinator): Lia has also been a staple in the AYSO program. She coaches where ever she is needed, and this season took over coordinating the tournament (sans student coordinators).
Cory Kovach (Assistant Coach Admin): Cory took over many of the coach administration tasks this season, including training and communication for all of the coaches. In addition to this role and taking on a new job, Cory coached two of his children's teams this season.
Melissa Capriotti (Uniform Coordinator): Where haven't you seen Melissa volunteering, should be the first question. In addition to being involved in the PTA, Melissa coaches all 3 of her children's AYSO teams. On top of that, she took the initiative to find a new uniform vendor this year and had your uniforms in hands before the start of the season (a first for the program).
Robyn Fletcher (Awards Coordinator): You know Robyn as "The Balloon Lady". She makes sure that all the children have awards available at the end of the season.
Elana Felber (EPIC Coordinator): Elana first volunteered with AYSO when she was 11 years old. She continued to show a passion for the program by receiving her degree in Special Education. She became our EPIC Coordinator a few seasons ago, and we could not have been more grateful. We wish her the best!
James Boazzo (Treasurer): James has been involved in the program for nearly 10 years, but his most recent role has been Treasurer for the program. We thank him for keeping us on track budget-wise in order to provide the best program available to the community.
Amma Odum (Ref. Admin): In addition to working full time and coaching her son's soccer team, Amma took on the role of Ref. Admin in Spring 2025. This season, we had the most referees registered and trained in Twinsburg AYSO history. We were even able to add a few adult referees.
Gretchen Cellura (Ref. Scheduler): Your game had a referee because of Gretchen. She was critical in scheduling our referees this season, and when there were not enough, she used her contacts in the community to hunt down more.
If you see these individuals out in the community, please make sure to thank them for their many hours of community service.
Thank you for a job well done! We could not have done it without you!
