Happy humid and hot morning, Twinsburg!

It’s almost Flag Day, so you will see flags going up all around town for the Parade of Flags in the coming days.

As a reminder the flags are being put up by local scout families and they are doing their best to get the flags up in a timely manner while staying safe and dry.

We have a lot of rain in the forecast over the next few days so please allow some grace as we work together to get the flags installed and put away over the next week.

River Run is live on the portal

The Rotary Club of Twinsburg is hosting our annual River Run on Sunday, July 12th and Sunday July 19th.

This is a fun, family friendly kayaking trip down Tinker’s Creek through scenic waters in Twinsburg.
The cost is $20.00 per person and
includes donuts or hot dogs, as well as beverages and corn hole.

Riders 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Sign-up early to get your preferred date and time, but hurry because it’s first come, first served.

Good evening Twinsburg! I hope everyone is having a great evening.

It’s time again for the Parade of Flags to start going up!

Everyone in the Rotary is so excited to announce that 2026 is our most successful year yet and the program grew so much that we have been able to start three new flag routes!

What this means is that more families in the Cub and Scouting America program are able to take place and pay their way through scouting to keep doing all of the fun and challenging things that will shape them into strong members of our community.

With that being said we are currently getting ready to put the flags out for Memorial Day and will be spending the next few days learning the routes, installing the flags and repairing some anchors.

I ask that we all take a moment to remember that these are volunteers in the community putting these flags out and sometimes there are delays or unforeseen circumstances that pop up as we get the program going.

If you think that there is an issue with your flag install please contact us on Saturday and we will be out to resolve the issue as soon as we can.

Thank you again, Twinsburg, for being an awesome community and a great place to live!
