Spent this morning in the heat and humidity working on tree maintenance with

Many of our members completed the WRLC’s Sherwick Tree Steward program and were able to exercise what they learned during today’s training day. Planting trees is great, but, maintenance is what keeps them happy, healthy, and alive!

We are so thankful for WRLC staff for their guidance and expertise today!

We had a great time for our July monthly training down at Cuyahoga County Board of Health ( )where we pulled phragmites, had a food safety demo, and participated in a Climate Fresk session.

22-23 vs 23-24!

Oh, how we've grown! This service year, we've gained 10 members--jumping from 17 to 27! Wow! Our members are placed at an environmental organization within Northern Ohio, such as just to name a few.

The 2023-2024 Service year is a week underway. Keep your eyes peeled for updates throughout the year!

That's a wrap for this year!

We are so grateful to all of our members, the host-site supervisors, and the collaborators we served with this year. We couldn't have done it without you!

Our members accomplished a lot this year, and we couldn't be prouder!

Signing up for a year of NOWCorps (Northern Ohio Watershed Corps) means serving a year in your community, working on restoration projects, doing water quality monitoring, and educating others about safe environmental practices.
