Our Story
The Brainy Day Trail Run was started in 2007 after our founder, Veronica Constantine, unexpectedly developed hydrocephalus. All proceeds from the race benefits The Brainy Day Fund, the non-profit we have organized to help families in West Michigan.
Registration for the 14th Annual Brainy Day 5K & 10K Trail Run opens soon.
We were established to help the community. After many years of fundraising, we are now in a position to become more involved in helping those affected by hydrocephalus. Through a partnership with the Hydrocephalus Association, we are raising funds towards supporting the researchers working every day to find a cure and the many families in Michigan who have children living with hydrocephalus.
The Brainy Day Fund’s Scholarship Program was established in 2018 to provide financial assistance to capable and promising teens and young adults who live in Michigan with the ongoing challenges and complexities of hydrocephalus.
