Quick update: Joe and I spent 4-5 hours on the two track clearing trees and overgrowth so we have a clear path back by vehicle to various sections of Matrix and Infinity. There was also 15 yards of clay and 15 yards of crushed concrete dropped off back on saints for reforming berms and jumps that have been flattened out over time. There will be another 15 of each delivered sometime next week. Thanks to Misze Sand Mine for the last minute delivery!

Just a reminder. This Sunday 5/3 at 9am we meet in the parking lot for a trail day! There are a ton of things on the list so we need plenty of bodies. We have some tools in the trailer, but can always use more. Dress accordingly for the weather and plenty of walking. Gloves are recommended. Please do not park in front of the two track on Sunday. There is a temporary block put in the parking lot.

•Plan on giving back to a great trail that charges you nothing to ride
•Rebuilding jumps that have been flattened out
•Rebuilding berms
•Fixing entrance/exits to features/bridges
•Clearing sand traps and trail drains
•Sweeping off bridges
•Clearing the sides of the trail so the mower can get through when needed
•Cutting back growth and deadfall
•Fix the ruts in the parking lot
•Pick up parking lot and road side trash
•Lunch provided by Rock N' Road GH
•Post refreshments provided by Beer Laps Racing Team

If you see Joe around, buy that man more than just 1 beer!

**Quick shout out**

Sincere appreciation to all individuals who generously contributed to the donation box at the trail head over the last few weeks, and to Spring Lake Ace Hardware for their invaluable partnership. Together, we are installing 12 permanent tools along the trail, effectively addressing challenging areas with sand and drainage.

I am hoping to start installing these shortly. Relative locations are already flagged. I just need assistance getting the 4x4 posts back to those locations.

Small donations like these allow for constant trail improvements. Cheers to a phenomenal community. ❤️🚲 🤙🏻

FYI.

Some Good News and Some Bad News.. The bad news is Global Fat Bike Day has been cancelled. The GOOD news is that we have excellent conditions for cross country skiing and snowshoeing!

We are allowed to invite bikes onto our trail system one day per year and we scheduled this event before knowing we'd be able to open for winter operations. Thanks for your understanding and we hope to see you at the Park this weekend! :)
