June is elder abuse awareness month. Our office had an interview with KMVT on how to watch for signs of elder abuse. If you have an elder, you believe is being abused you can call your local law enforcement and then call our office at 208-736-2122 to make a report.

June is Elder Abuse Awareness month, a time to check in on your seniors to make sure they are safe.

This is not just happening in other states it is happening in all states including Idaho. I have completed and looked at many reports of this very thing. Please watch your Medicare summary notices and your estimation of benefits statement. Most times if there is no cost to you it gets overlooked. The problem with this is that Medicare is paying for this. Your premiums pay for this! We need your help! If you need educated on how to read these notices, we are happy to educate you at no cost. You can help our mission just by helping yourself and others on what to look for!
