🎄🎁 *A Very Merry Day in Twin Falls!* 🎁🎄

Today was full of holiday cheer as Twin Falls Police FOP Lodge 22, Twin Falls Firefighters Local 1556, Target, and Candy Cane Lane Holiday Lighting teamed up to bring some Christmas magic to 6 families and 15 amazing kids! 🎅🏼✨

We had a blast taking the kids shopping for toys, clothes, and all the festive goodies that make the season bright. A HUGE thank you to our incredible sponsors for making this day possible—your generosity is truly spreading holiday joy throughout our community! 🎉

Guess what's coming back?! We are excited to announce that we are bringing back the Policeman's Ball Event. Tickets are on sale now for the 2024 Policeman's Ball. The event will be on August 10th at the Pastoor Event Center at the Filer Fairgrounds. Tickets are $40.00 per person and include dinner, dancing, an evening of raffles, and a great time! Message us if you would like to purchase tickets. We haven't had this event since 2019, but it always sold out quickly. Hurry and get your tickets before they are gone. We also have a limited number of sponsor tables available. Please message us if you are interested in any of those.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our brothers and sisters in blue in Ada County right now.

UPDATE: A suspect has been located and the scene near S. Roosevelt and W. Nez Perce St. in Boise is secure. Boise Police Department will release additional details about what occurred at the scene shortly.

On 4/20/2024 at approximately 8:55pm, an Ada County Sheriff’s
Office deputy made a traffic stop in the area of W. Overland Rd. and S. Raymond St. in Boise. At some point during the stop, the suspect in the vehicle shot the deputy. A citizen witnessed the shooting, called 911, and performed CPR. The deputy was transported to St. Alphonsus in Boise. The deputy’s condition is unknown at this time.

The suspect vehicle has been located. The suspect is still outstanding and is considered armed and dangerous. There are active searches currently underway.

While on their way to assist the downed deputy, another Ada County Sheriff’s Office deputy was involved in a two-vehicle crash with a power pole near S. Meridian Rd. and E. Amity Rd. The deputy was transported to St. Alphonsus in Boise. The deputy’s condition is unknown at this time.

We ask residents to lock their doors and call dispatch if they see anything suspicious.

Cops and Kids in partnership with Heros and Helpers 2023 took over Target this morning. We had the honor of taking kids shopping for gifts for them and their families for Christmas. Thank you to the members of Twin Falls Police FOP Lodge 22, Twin Falls Firefighters Local 1556, Felony Probation and Parole District 5, Skuza Family, and Target for helping raise the funds to support this wonderful cause.

We are honored to endorse Ruth Pierce for re-election for seat 7. Mayor Pierce has always been a supporter of public safety. Make sure to get out and vote on November 7th.

Members of our lodge have been attending the National FOP conference this week in Las Vegas. While there was 3,800+ FOP members in attendance, we were able to meet up with members from other Idaho Lodges for a photo. Great things happing in the FOP!
