If you don't want to deal with these nasties this Fall, set out your yellow jacket traps now. The YJ queens are the only ones that survive winter. Killing the YJ queens in Spring eliminates thousands of YJ's this Fall.

Tonight! 7pm.

Honeybees rely on pollen for essential nutrients including sterols, which are critical for growth and development. Unfortunately, these sterols are rare in nature and missing from most pollen substitute feeds.

Join us Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 7:00 PM MST for a virtual mini-conference with Dr.Elynor Moore, Scientist & Bee Nutrition Researcher, as she shares research on engineering yeast to produce the specific sterols honeybees need and helping colonies rear brood longer when natural pollen is limited.

If you have previously registered for one of VFairs conferences, there is no need for you to reregister for other VFairs conferences. You are automatically registered for subsequent Vfairs conferences that WAS hosted.

Tomorrow night!

Thursday, January 22, 2026 | 7:00 PM (MST) | Join us for a mini-conference on Varroa management and oxalic acid treatments, featuring David T. Peck, Ph.D., Director of Research & Education at Betterbee .

Dr. Peck’s work spans varroa transmission, parasite virulence, and mite–bee interactions, with research conducted through Cornell University and international fieldwork in regions both with and without varroa pressure. His talk will explore why parasites should never be underestimated, along with emerging oxalic acid formulations and other varroa treatment approaches on the horizon.

This session is ideal for beekeepers interested in science-based insight into varroa dynamics and evolving treatment strategies.
