Southern Idaho Draft Horse and Mule Association We are a Club dedicated to preserving the art of using teams of Draft Horses and Mules to pull wagons and to Farm using horse drawn equipment.

We hold playdays and events for the public to see these skills in action.

Well it’s a sad day in the Correa house today…. Today we have to say good bye to Harold Ruby’s “Tommy Haflinger “. He was a great horse and teacher. My son learned to drive him at the age of 5, driving single on the stone boat, eventually moving up to driving the team at farm days and thousand springs festival in Hagerman. My daughter only got to help dad on the lines and according to her, that was not enough!!! My kids are not very happy today, but understand the situation. Please pray for comfort for the kids?!?! They are gonna need it… as for Tommy… I’m gonna miss him. He taught me a lot too. thank you Tommy for taking good care of all our passengers, and for pulling with all your heart when it was asked of you!!!

Horse owners are being warned not to feed their animals select lots of alfalfa cubes after dozens of horses have either gotten sick or died.
