Valley House Homeless Shelter Valley House is a private, non-profit homeless shelter in the Magic Valley whose mission is to help motivated homeless gain self-sufficiency.

We also provide showers, monthly food boxes and a winter warming center. We gladly receive donations Monday-Thursday 9-4 pm.

🍽️ Community Dinner & Wellness Resources at Valley House!

We're partnering with AmeriHealth Caritas on Tuesday, October 27, for an afternoon of food, community, and connection!

AmeriHealth Caritas will be providing boxed dinners from McCallister's for Valley House residents and extending the opportunity to the first 100 community members to receive a meal as well!

While visiting, community members can also explore health and wellness resources, including information from the American Cancer Society's CancerRisk 360 program.

Community meals are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

We’re so grateful to be the Turf Club’s October Community Partner! ❤️

Throughout October, 10% of proceeds from every 5-Course Chef’s Tasting Dinner at Turf Club will be donated to Valley House.

It’s a pretty great way to support Valley House: enjoy a delicious dinner, and a portion of your meal helps support our work with individuals and families experiencing homelessness throughout the Magic Valley.

Thank you to the Turf Club for choosing to support Valley House and for finding a way to bring good food and community support together. We’re grateful to have local businesses like this in our corner.

🍂 Fall is here, and we’re getting ready for the months ahead at Valley House.

The holiday season is just around the corner, and there are several ways you can help make it a little brighter for the individuals and families staying with us.

Through our Holiday Helper Form, you can let us know if you’re interested in:

🥧 Making a Thanksgiving meal for the men’s and/or women’s house
🦃 Hosting a Thanksgiving meal or food drive
🎄 Adopting an individual or family for Christmas

You don’t have to have all the details figured out yet, just let us know what you’re interested in, and we’ll be in touch as opportunities come up!

Life is unpredictable. Sometimes, an unexpected change can leave someone needing a place to stay.

Recently, a family came to Valley House after mold made their home unsafe. They weren’t looking for a new home. They simply needed somewhere to stay while repairs were being made.

Their story wasn’t about finding a new home. It was about having a place to stay while they worked toward returning to the one they already had.

There are many reasons someone may suddenly need a safe place to stay: An unexpected expense, a job change, an unsafe home, or a family emergency.

Sometimes, people just need a place to get through what’s next. We’re honored to be a small part of helping people along the way. 🩵

We’re grateful to Little Caesars Love Kicthen for recently stopping by Valley House and serving lunch to our residents.

Their team brought plenty of pizza, big smiles, and a thoughtful gesture that made lunchtime a little more special.

Remember when we shared a sneak peek of something new coming to Valley House? 🛝

Earlier this summer, a group of incredible volunteers helped us tear down the playground that had served Valley House families for more than 20 years.

Now, we’re ready to build what’s next!💙

Our goal: $30,000 for a new playground where kids of all ages can play, explore, and simply be kids.

We’re incredibly grateful to Shambaugh & Son, L.P., our founding partner, for kicking off the campaign with a $10,000 gift.

Now we need our community to help us reach the remaining $20,000.
