MORONGO BASIN – With beautiful weather the Annual Parade of Homes fundraiser for Reach Out Morongo Basin on February 15th, 2026, raised over $3200 for the neighbors helping neighbors organizations services for seniors and the disabled. “We had over 100 parade goers this year from all over the United States and even had visitors from Canada!” said Robin Schlosser, Reach Out executive director. “People realize that this is a great event to attend and enjoy the beauty of our Morongo Basin.”
This year’s lineup featured innovative and artistic homes. The diversity of the homes represents the unique lifestyle here in the Morongo Basin,” Schlosser continued. “This was in large part due to the generous homeowners who called Reach Out and offered up their homes for the tour this year. Sadly, we were unable to hold the tour in 2025 due to last minute cancellations on homes, so we were very glad to be able to present again this year.”
With this year’s tour featuring homes in Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms tour goers got to explore and to enjoy discounts on lunch offered by local restaurants as part of the ticket purchase. “We were also able to offer tour goers a 10% discount on lunch at local restaurants with the purchase of their ticket. Discounts were offered by the Historic 29 Palms Inn and Mojave Gold and gave tour goers a variety of cuisines to choose from.”
Organizers would like to thank our sponsors- Z107.7 Morongo Basin Broadcasting, Hi Desert Star and the Desert Trail, Kiwanis Club of 29 Palms and Desert Moon Real Estate Pictorial for their generous support. As the longest running fundraiser for Reach Out Morongo Basin, the Parade of Homes, all proceeds from the tour go to fund programs such as transportation to doctors’ appointments and shopping, pickup and delivery of prescriptions, minor home repair and yard work assistance for seniors and the disable.
