Aviator sunglasses have become a classic favorite, but their story begins in the 1930s when they were created to help military pilots stay focused in bright, demanding skies. Marine aviators were among the early wearers, and the design quickly became part of everyday life across the Navy and Marine Corps community. From long hours in the cockpit to quiet moments on the flight line, these shades supported the people keeping watch over the skies.



Over time, aviators found their way into family photos, homecomings, and milestones shared by Sailors, Marines, and the loved ones who stand with them. What began as essential gear is now a part of everyday life and fashion.
