February 2026 N-Gauging Topic :P

This month we are focusing on a new product hot in modelers hands and on some discussion groups.
N-Possible Couplers https://www.n-possible.com/

To kick this off, we'd like to know.
1. have you heard about these and where did you hear or see them?
2. Have you picked any up?
3. Have you installed, tested or put them through their paces?
4. Feedback?

I'll start it off. This is Brett posting by the way. I first saw these at NSE Show in KC this past summer. I had been following posts and the production info from some FB posts and was super excited to see them in person. As a 3D designer, I wanted to know how I could make easy use of them in my designs and not have to make too many alterations to my existing models.

I quickly learned they could easily replace my designed 1015 options, plug n play, mostly. I grabbed a sample and brought them back to MN to play around with. Truth.....sadly, they are still in the package :( BUT...i did remove them today to take some measurements and test fit on one of my relco designs. they fit! as I expected they would lol

Feedback, not much to give or share as of now myself. I'm really looking forward to some follow-up posts in this thread as there are some of my best modeling friends converting their fleets quickly.

I'll end by saying these are not for everyone, but from my initial fit and a coupler car lashup....they do look great and work just like I saw in the live demo.

So lets hear it! Lets See it w/ photos AND some test videos!!

Good day NRail'ers! Sharing some news/updates for the FB group.

During the Board of Directors meeting last night a few topics were discussed and are listed below.

First, the BoD voted in Kevin Squire to an advisory position. Grats to Kevin!! We are very excited to have him with us and he will be part of the web team as we start to improve and modernize the website over this fiscal year.

Second, we are making a larger effort to be more engaging with discussion topics on this page. We are starting off with 2 new discussion topics every month starting today. The topics will follow this format:

Topic 1 - random topic each month focusing on something hot or new in N Scale model railroading. It will be easy to search for as the title will always follow the Month/Year/Title format. IE, you don't have to type ... or "following" to go back and find it. a simple text string in the page search bar will work :D

Topic 2 - This will be focused directly to ZoomTRAK but will focus as a follow-up to the previous month AFTER it's been made public on YouTube. I.e. for this month, the post will be for Jan 2026 ZoomTRAK and will focus on that video only. Same system for following as Topic 1 will make it easy to search and find down the road.

Watch for the 2 new posts starting up today!

cheers and thanks for being members!
