Wildcard Foundation We're here to Bring the Noise!!! Where it all started:

Nixon Wildcard Hunter was born medically fragile, including a profound bilateral hearing impairment.

Much to their dismay, Nixon's parents found out their insurance company did not cover the cost of Cochlear Implants or Hearing Aids, which Nixon needed. Nixon’s parents Stephanie and Rich Hunter created a petition that received more than 45,000 signatures, resulting in their insurance company finally agreeing to cover the costs of the implants. With the help of HearAid Foundation, Nixon was fitted

for hearing aids. Shortly after the fitting, Nixon was admitted to CHOC and would remain there for the next three months. Sadly Nixon passed away soon after peacefully in his parents arms, with too many medical complications stacked up against him. Nixon accomplished more in his 8 months of life than some adults can claim in their entire lifespan. In true Nixon Wildcard Hunter form, he fought until the end. The strength Nixon displayed inspired people, the fight he possessed motivated people, and the love that surrounded him touched people. If you google Nixon's full name, he will consume the first two pages of google. After spending an exorbitant amount of time in CHOC ICU’s with their son, the Hunters realized what helps them most with their devastating loss is helping other families children in need in Nixon’s honor and remembrance. With that, they formed the Wildcard Army. Wildcard Army has been assisting families in need with generous donations and help from people like YOU!!

The 2026 Wildcard Easter Basket Drive is complete! This year we donated somewhere close to 300 baskets for the well deserving kiddos. Our kids got involved again this year, and really took over the process of fundraising, creating, and helping unload the baskets at . They’re really beginning to make the operation their own and we are happy to oblige. Shout out to children and all the very generous people that also donated to this amazing effort. The kiddos in the hospital had a bright spot in their day because of you. We can’t do any of this without you all caring of us too! ❤️ community

Another year, another milestone! It's surreal to think Nixon would be a teenager now, but he'll always be our 8-month-old baby in our hearts. We're trying something new this year with a matching donation pool and are thankful for the donations we've received. Your support means the world to us and will go a long way in helping kids in need. Please share if you're feeling the holiday cheer! Wishing you a happy holiday season and a great new year ❤️

We have a friend from here in Orange County that lives abroad, and could use some help from us. Sadly her daughter has tumor in her brain that is unrepairable, and is near end of life. There is a GoFundMe (in my bio) to help her parents spend what time is left, with their beloved daughter Marnie. Having to balance work, and what days you know you have left with your child, shouldn’t be a concern. Life is already tough and so is Marnie, along with her beautiful family, BUT we can help ease the stress a little with a donation. ANY AMOUNT HELPS! Micro donations help! I know this from personal experience obviously. Please consider giving a donation or sharing this story, to help Marnie and her family spend as much time as possible together. ❤️

Welcome to the 12th Annual Easter Basket Drive for . Unfortunately family health issues needed attention, so we are late in getting started this year. We have the process down well, and are low on time to receive baskets or their contents, so we are asking for donations only. On trend, the number of patients grows yearly, and this year is no exception. Let’s try our best to give the families and kiddos a sense of normalcy this Easter with some quality baskets! We’ll do our best to keep you in on the results. ❤️ Link in bio.
