Our Final SOCALOA End of Year Award goes to for Unsung Hero!
Jean-Marc did the most high school games out of all the SOCALOA referees this season, hitting 100 games with the CIF D1 Championship.
He even went late to a wedding to make sure a was covered and not cancelled after doing a double overtime game at in the rain.
He reffed a majority of the games far from his home in Yorba Linda, and many of them very low level games with newer officials where he takes the opportunity to mentor them and help them improve.
He’s recruited a number of our new officials and continues to do so.
He champions our organization in person and on social media and keeps many of us up-to-date with the state of boys lacrosse across all of the CIF Southern Section.
He’s a great asset to the organization for many reasons.
