We would like to congratulate the members of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity’s Iota Epsilon Chapter at Chapman University as our honorary March volunteers! These men have supported our chapter across multiple events, for many years, with helping with heavy truck loads to volunteering at our One Walks! Not only are they eager to lend a hand when needed, in 2008 the chapter started an annual philanthropic pageant, Delta Queen, with all proceeds benefitting JDRF. Organized and run by the men of Chapman's Delta Tau Delta fraternity, Delta Queen is Chapman's largest Greek fundraiser! Each Greek chapter on campus nominates and supports one contestant to compete for the title of Miss Delta Queen, a responsibility that upholds the spirit of philanthropy and the vision of Delta Queen. Contestants participate in talent showcase, personality walk, evening wear, and question-and-answer segments, but strive to achieve their ultimate goal of increasing awareness and support for type 1 diabetes research. Over the years, they have raised over $250,000 for JDRF! We are sincerely grateful for the members of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity’s Iota Epsilon Chapter at Chapman University for joining our mission and for all of their support over the years. Thank you to all of you for your hard work and dedication! The 2020 Delta Queen will be hosted at Chapman University on Wednesday March 18th.
