Bring the Mission Field Home

Partner With Shoals CASA as a Home Mission

What if your church could change a child’s life right here in our own community?

Shoals CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) invites local churches to partner with us in serving vulnerable children in the foster care system. This is home missions at its finest—loving, serving, and advocating for children right where God has planted us.

What Is CASA?

CASA volunteers are trained advocates appointed by a judge to stand up for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

CASA is similar to foster care, but children do NOT live in your home

Advocates speak up for a child’s best interest in court, school, and the community

You are a consistent, caring adult voice in a child’s life

The Commitment

✔ About 8 hours a month
✔ Flexible scheduling
✔ Thorough training and ongoing support
✔ Life-changing impact

You don’t need a special background—just a willing heart and a desire to serve.

How Your Church Can Get Involved

PRAY

Pray for children in foster care

Pray for families, judges, social workers, and advocates

SERVE

Encourage members to become CASA Volunteer Advocates

Be the hands and feet of Christ to children who need hope

GIVE

Financial support helps us recruit, train, and support volunteers

Your generosity directly impacts children in our community

Why It Matters

Every child deserves to be seen, heard, and protected.
When churches step in, children experience hope, stability, and advocacy—often for the first time.

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these… you did for Me.”
— Matthew 25:40
