It’s that time of year again! We’re excited to announce the Warren T. Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament, happening April 10th at Twin Pines Country Club.

Last year, this tournament raised over $10,000 in a single day—and this year, we’re aiming even higher. With a new venue and a four-person team format, availability is more limited than ever, so early registration is encouraged.

Team entry is $400, and a variety of sponsorship opportunities are available. To secure your spot, sign up by texting, calling, emailing, or scanning the QR code on our flyer.

More details will be coming soon, but don’t wait—reserve your team’s place today before spots fill up. Best of all, every net dollar raised directly supports the students of the Tuscumbia City School System.

Parents and Stakeholders,

Each year, the Alabama State Board of Education releases report cards for each school and school district across the state. I am very excited to share with you the 2025-2026 State Report Card for Tuscumbia City Schools.

We are proud to announce that Tuscumbia City Schools received a 91 score this year. This is the highest system score for Tuscumbia City Schools and a four-point increase from last year. It is also the first A for Tuscumbia. This dramatic increase in score is due to the hard work of everyone in Tuscumbia City Schools including all employees, Tuscumbia City Schools Board of Education, parents and stakeholders. It is the belief of our parents and stakeholders that we provide a solid education to all of our students and know that we challenge our students academically every single day. These scores reflect that belief. From Kindergarten at GW Trenholm to graduation at Deshler High School, our community and students take pride in Tuscumbia City Schools. This growth is due to that belief.
Again, I want to thank every employee in Tuscumbia City Schools and the parents and guardians for all the hard work they do to make Tuscumbia City Schools great.
