Good morning. It is dark and quiet. At our house the quietness doesnt last long. Lol. Reflection. Regrouping. Pondering. Alot goes through your mind at all hours of day and night. Especially the night. People come to mind. Situations come to mind. World peace. Sickness. The list goes on.

Should ? Would? Could? WILL?

Plans are made. Hold the one that is physically hurting. Will this work or will this work? Around and around the mind goes.

And then.......

The sun comes up in all its glory. The colors the beautiful majestic colors. The peace it brings. (In not a morning person but when I'm up ohhhh). Usually ab early doctor appointments means leaving before the sun comes up

A new day. Old has passed away. Step into the day. For it is the future. Laugh. Cry. Be encouragement for someone. Hug. Call a friend that has been on your mind. Schedule lunch with someone. Breathe.

That is my goal for 2019. Find the simple.
Go forth and .................

Updated our picture last night but couldn't put words to it. The picture shows beautiful landscape with a barrier in front of it. A spot is broken. Is it really broken? Or showing a way over, around or through.
with families with special needs children or grown children you have to find a way. Children can be born or through accidents have a different life. The life has challenges with help and love from God, family and friends there is sunshine in the midst of the circumstance.
Looking forward to a new year and hopefully less sickness and more fun. If sickness comes we will walk forward with the grace and help from God and conquer.

Start.......

Start with a thought.......
Start with a word........
Start with an emotion...........
Start with an action.........

This started with two moms. It has ebbed and flowed through the years. We have had life blessings and life challenges that havent been with keeping this up to date but now with GOD'S leadership it is back up.

When we first started the group it was supposed to be encourageing and on a happy note. But there are happy times but also not so happy times. In the trenches there is hope, tears, uncertainty, not enough time, not enough information. It is like walking through a mine field. is this step the one for victory or a set back to regroup and START over.

So we start........

Good morn! Hope this finds everyone doing well. It has been busy. Tiffany McGuyer my daughter had a nuro dr. appointment. It went well we found out her gait (walking) is a side effect from Vimpat. The trade off is a good drug and controlling seizure's but makes walking difficult sometimes. She is a trouper.
So many people with challenges but God has us in His hand. I know it. Feel it.
Please pray for this support group. Meeting the last Thursday in July. More information to follow.

We hope to encourage parents to come and be apart of the support group. Together we can make a difference! We will show others how to be an advocate for their child with parenting strateties. Help get the teaching in child develpment that their child needs, Be an encouragement during the hard times and trials that you go through (sometimes on a daily basis) and also celebrate the victories. It is an awesome feeling to see your child progress in an area that you were told would never happen so celebrating a victory is what we as parents want to see in every child but when its your 'Special Needs" child, you cant explain the joyfulness that overwhelms you because your child just "beat the odds" of something. We will show others how to cope with stress and continue to build friendships.
