All teams have been finalized and coaches have been working to reach out over the past several days. At this point, all parents should have been contacted by their child’s coach.

If you have not heard from your coach yet, please reach out to us so we can get you connected.

Practices will be starting within the next couple of weeks as we get closer to the season. We know this is a busy time of year with other sports, and we appreciate everyone working together to get things scheduled.

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out for our ECIL Flag Football Skills Day this past weekend.

It was great to see so many kids out there having fun, competing, and getting excited for the season ahead. The energy and enthusiasm from the players made it a really successful day.

A big thank you as well to all of the volunteers who helped run stations, check players in, and keep everything moving smoothly. We truly appreciate you giving your time to help make this event possible.

Teams have now been drafted, and coaches will be reaching out to families sometime this week with next steps and team information.

We are looking forward to a great season ahead and can’t wait to get started.

ECIL Flag Football - Skills Day Reminder

This is a reminder that our Skills Day is coming up this Saturday at Ervin Park in Tuscola.

We will be using this time to evaluate players and place them on balanced teams for the season. It’s also a great opportunity for the kids to get comfortable, meet coaches, and have some fun before games begin. Participation in this event is optional.

Schedule:
Rookies (1st–3rd Grade): 11:30 AM
Juniors (4th–6th Grade): 12:30 PM
Seniors (7th-9th Grade): 1:30
Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early for check-in.
-Each session will last approximately 1 hr.

Make sure your player brings:
Cleats or athletic shoes
Water bottle
Comfortable athletic clothing

If you have not submitted your waiver yet, copies will be available to sign at the registration table.

Registration for the 2026 ECIL Flag Football season is now officially closed. Thank you to everyone who signed up and helped spread the word. We are excited about the number of families who signed up and are looking forward to a great season.

Our Skills Day and Draft will take place on either April 11th or April 18th at Ervin Park. As we finalize our coaching staff, we will confirm the official date and schedule so families can plan accordingly.

We are now moving into the scheduling phase of the season. Game schedules, practice information, and important dates will be posted to our website calendar very soon.

At this time, we are still looking to fill a few coaching positions, particularly in the Rookies and Juniors divisions. If you have ever considered coaching, this is a great opportunity to get involved. You do not need prior coaching experience. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, positive, and willing to help create a fun and structured environment for the kids.

Coaching is a chance to make a real impact. You will help young athletes learn the game, build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and most importantly, enjoy the experience. Many of our coaches are parents and community members who simply want to give back and support youth sports in our area. Apply at our website below:

We’re making a final push to grow participation at the Senior Division level and would love to see more athletes get involved.

This summer season is a perfect way to stay connected to football before the Fall football seasons begin. As participation continues to grow at this level, we are bringing in current Illini athletes to coach and mentor players in this division to support development and make it a great experience.

If your athlete is heading into 7th, 8th, or freshman year, this is a great opportunity to:

-Stay in shape during the offseason
-Build and sharpen football skills before fall season
-Improve speed, agility, and football IQ
-Compete in a fun, competitive environment with athletes from across the area

This is the final week to register for the upcoming Flag Football season! If your child is planning to play this season, now is the time to sign up before registration closes.

Our season runs May through July with practices during the week and games on weekends.

If you have been thinking about signing up, do not wait. Make sure your player is registered before the deadline so we can finalize teams and prepare for Skills Day and the draft in April.

Senior Division is Back for ECIL Flag Football!

We’re excited to bring back the Senior Division this season for athletes entering 7th–9th grade.

This division, as well as the Juniors, is a great way for players to stay active and sharpen their football skills heading into the Tuscola JFL season and other surrounding JFL seasons that begin in August. Flag football helps athletes improve their route running, defensive coverage, field awareness, and overall football IQ while staying in game shape during the offseason. The flag football season will end before the Tuscola JFL season starts.

Games start in late May will be played Saturday mornings or Sunday evenings and some weeknights in July.

Right now we’re building the roster and looking for a few more athletes to make the Senior division happen. If you know a player who might be interested, send them our way.

Registration is open now through March 21st.
