Hello!

DCHD is restructuring the Summer Food Program to better serve students' access to nutritious meals throughout Summer break.
For Summer 2024, DCHD will utilize the self-enrollment registration link below for eligible program participants to enroll their household for weekly delivery of breakfast and lunch meals for all eligible students within the household.

Weekly deliveries will run from June 3rd - August 2nd for enrolled households.

Participating households served by this program will be subject to eligibility guidelines including eligibility for free and/or reduced lunches as verified by their school district and at least one student served per household must be enrolled in a school program.

Collection for the program below has ended and the effort was very successful. Thank you for your generosity and support! We were grateful to provide 42 Douglas Co youth with new school shoes with the love and support of Douglas Co residents and businesses. Each donation made a beautiful difference. Thank you!

Summer Fun & Meals sign-up is OPEN for June and July 2022!!!

Douglas County Summer Fun & Meals sites are: Shiloh School Dist; Newman American Legion/Park; Sacred Heart in Villa Grove; Tuscola United Methodist Church in Tuscola; Arcola School District, Arthur Grade School, and Atwood Grade School.

Lunch will be 11am-12pm for all sites above.

All 18 & Under are welcome regardless of where you live. Come have a fun lunch with us every weekday throughout June and July!

Free bus transportation from GOULD BUS SERVICE is free and available for 6 & older based on site location. Please see sign-up for details!

We also welcome attendees to walk, ride bikes, or be dropped off!

OPEN to ALL 18 & Under AND those 19-21 with an IEP from any area school district.
