Hello Tusky. Some updates for Light Up Tusky and the Village.

-Banner’s to Honor our local Veterans are now going up on Main and Cherry Street. We would love to fill all the poles we can. Cost of banner is $200 and you can pick up an order form at the Village Hall during the week 9am-noon.
Next order will need to be in by March 30th 2026 to be up by Memorial Day May 25 2026. The Banners will hang until after Veterans Day.

-🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 ONE MILE of American Flags.
For Americas 250th celebration July 4 2026 Light up Tusky is asking all residents on Village and Main St. to place American Flags along the curb on both sides of the streets every 9ft. What a beautiful site it would be to drive through the village and see over a mile of flags the entire way.

Tusky residents and family members we need your help. We have several Veterans from the Village that the VFW would like sponsor for the Veteran Banners going up Memorial Day 2026. The Village Is also sponsoring 10 Vetrans through Light Up Tusky and we would like residents to participate and let us know if there is someone you’d like to see honored.

We need to get their Military service information for the form below and a picture of them so please if you know any family members whom could help please let us know and tag and share. At the bottom is list we need assistance with from their families that the VFW would like to sponsor. We are also are taking donations and orders if you would like to honor a Veteran who lives or had lived in the village.

Tusky residents present and past.
We are starting our ordering and fundraiser to Honor the Veterans of the Village who honorablly served.
If you would like to donate or sponsor a a flag to honor a Veteran please stop into the village hall to donate and/or pick up an order form. All proceeds go towards Light Up Tusky Village decoration fund.

The flags will be hung on street poles from Memorial Day till Veterans Day starting in 2026. First order to be sent in November 1st 2025.
Information needed in the forms below. Example of the flag. Flag will be 2ft x 4ft same image on both sides.

Summertime Scheduled Events for The Village-

The Week of TUSKY DAYS 2025 is here!Starting this Thursday June 19th till Saturday June 21st School Street will be rocking with live music, Beer Garden, Food Trucks and rides for all ages. Stop down and check out the schedule at Tusky Days Festival site.

YARD SALES- Yard sales are scheduled for July 17,18,19 this year.

Food Truck Park has opened dates for any food trucks or vendors who would like to set up. The Food Truck Park would like Village and local charities, Churches, Scouts, Library and Schools to know if interested using the Park for a fundraiser contact us at

We have a busy weekend going on in the village leading into Memorial Day 2025. Dont forget to get your flags out and line our steets.

-SATURDAY May 24th at 12pm noon Grand Opening of New Tusky Food Truck Park with Dandy Dogs food truck and The Fresh Lemonade food truck. Mayor Moore to dedicate the new Park to the village residents.

-SUNDAY May 25th Dandy Dogs and Fresh Lemonade at the Food Truck Park

MEMORIAL DAY 🇺🇸 Parade 10am. Followed by Memorial Day Service at the Park.
2 allstar Minor league baseball games to be played after services.

Light Up Tusky’s goal for the last three years was to brighten up and decorate the Village for the Christmas Season. With your support we are happy to announce that all poles on Main St and Cherry St that have power are all set with lights. Only project left will be the Village Christams Tree.

We are now moving into another phase of Light Up Tusky Project in Honoring our Hometown Hero’s. The Village, Light Up Tusky along with The Tusky VFW is starting an initiative to decorate the Village street poles with Flags Honoring our Hometown Hero’s ( see cover photo) who have Honorably Served in the Armed Services.

We will be passing out more information on Memorial Day Weekend and the plan is to have a huge order and celebration for 2026, Our Country’s 250th birthday.

We again thank you all for your past support for Light Up Tusky Christmas Decoration project. We hope for your support for our 2026 Hometown Hero’s project. Let’s make this the best little Town in America.
