You have to recognize the difference between people walking with you and people being for you. The soul of a person determines who you’re walking with and whether they are genuinely for you.

The text tells us Judas walked with Jesus, but his heart was far from Him. The principle of the text is this: Judas didn’t tell Jesus that he wasn't genuinely for Him—the Holy Spirit did. Pay attention to the unction of the Spirit... you will always have spiritual insight about the spirits in your presence.

Jesus told Judas what Judas was going to do before Judas even knew he was going to do it. Every move, every step, and even their thoughts will be revealed to you if you abide in the Spirit and not in your emotions.

The hardest part about discernment is accepting the truth when your emotions don’t want to believe it. Trust this: everything the Spirit tells you will happen, play out, and be confirmed just like He said. You won’t change the outcome; the condition of their soul determines the outcome.

Pastoral PTSD ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️is when a pastor, prophet, or leader keeps functioning publicly while privately carrying trauma from betrayal, rejection, false accusations, spiritual pressure, people leaving dishonorably, financial weight, and constantly pouring out with little place to be poured into.

Clinically, PTSD is a real mental health condition connected to traumatic experiences, and common symptoms can include intrusive memories, avoidance, feeling on edge, sleep problems, irritability, negative mood shifts, and being triggered by reminders of what happened. So “Pastoral PTSD” should not be used lightly as a diagnosis, but it can describe the trauma response many leaders carry after repeated wounds in ministry.

Signs of Pastoral PTSD:

You still preach, but you do not trust like you used to.
You still love people, but you brace yourself for betrayal.
You still answer the call, but your nervous system remembers every accusation.
You still show up for others, but deep down you are tired of being misunderstood.
You become hyper-alert to disrespect, dishonor, abandonment, and hidden agendas.
You do not just remember what happened; sometimes your body reacts like it is happening again.

Some pastors are not mean.
They are wounded.

Some prophets are not hard.
They have survived betrayal, accusation, abandonment, dishonor, and warfare that nobody saw.

Pastoral PTSD is when the shepherd keeps feeding sheep while still bleeding from the bite marks of the last season.

But hear this:
God is healing the leader behind the oil.
God is restoring the voice behind the mantle.
God is strengthening the shepherd who almost quit but kept showing up.

You did not survive ministry trauma to die in silence.
You are not just recovering.
You are being restored.

Declaration:
I decree that every wounded shepherd, prophet, pastor, apostle, and leader will receive healing in the hidden places. The trauma will not become your personality. The betrayal will not become your theology. The pain will not become your preaching posture. God is giving you clean hands, a healed heart, and strength to lead again.

As we prepare for the World Cup, FIFA will be bringing people together from all over the world. Different cities across the United States and other countries will host matches, welcoming fans, athletes, and visitors from every walk of life. It's an exciting time—a time of celebration, unity, and appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the athletes competing on the world's biggest stage.
But there's something I've noticed.
Many cities are suddenly finding resources to address homelessness. Hotel rooms are being offered. Temporary housing is being provided. Outreach efforts are increasing. Resources are becoming available. All in an effort to get people off the streets before the world arrives.
That raises a question: Why does it take a global event for these resources to become a priority?
Homelessness isn't a temporary problem that only exists when FIFA or the World Cup comes to town. It exists 365 days a year—366 on a leap year. The people sleeping in parks, under bridges, on sidewalks, or in shelters don't suddenly appear when a major event is scheduled. They've been there all along.
It's interesting that when a city's reputation, tourism, and revenue are on the line, solutions seem to appear. Resources are found. Partnerships are formed. Action is taken.
So why aren't those same efforts made every day?
Why does it take the possibility of a bad image or the arrival of international visitors for people to receive the help they need?
This isn't a criticism of providing resources. In fact, every person experiencing homelessness deserves access to housing, support services, mental health resources, job assistance, and opportunities for stability.
The question is why we wait.
If we can find solutions when the world is watching, then surely we can find solutions when no one is watching.
