Circlewood Baptist Church is looking for a Part-time Minister of Youth to join their team! Check out the details below:
Minister of Youth is responsible for leading a vibrant, Christ-centered ministry to middle and high school students (grades 6–12). This role focuses on discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, and building relationships with students and their families while working closely with the Senior Pastor, church staff, parents, and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and lead weekly student programs including Wednesday night Bible study/worship, fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive recreational program and manage use of the Christian Life Center (CLC)
• Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer leaders
• Provide counseling, spiritual guidance, and maintain regular communication with students and parents
• Build inter-generational church involvement and support families in Christian parenting
• Plan and lead student events, retreats, mission trips, and outreach
• Manage student ministry budget and ensure proper facility use and cleanup
• Participate in staff meetings, worship services, and church-wide ministry
Qualifications:
• Strong personal relationship with Christ, called to youth ministry, and aligned with Southern Baptist beliefs and the church’s statement of faith
• Experience in youth/student ministry preferred
• Engaging teacher with solid Biblical/theological foundation
• Self-motivated, relational leader with a heart for students and evangelism
• Meets biblical leadership qualifications (1 Timothy 3:1-7) and committed to child protection policies
Compensation:
Part-time salary determined by the Church Finance Committee.
