Shelton State Community College Foundation The Foundation is dedicated to assisting SSCC in the building of the endowment, through financial su The Shelton State Community College Foundation, Inc.

(Foundation), was organized and incorporated in 1984 for the purpose of stimulating voluntary private support from alumni, parents, friends, corporations, foundations, and others for the benefit of the College. The Foundation exists to raise and manage private resources supporting the mission and priorities of the College, and provide opportunities for students and a margin of institutional excellence not achievable with institutional funds alone. The Foundation is dedicated to assisting the College in the building of the endowment and in addressing, through financial support, the long-term academic and other priorities of the College. The Foundation is a separately incorporated non-profit 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization, responsible for identifying and nurturing relationships with potential donors and friends of the College; soliciting cash, securities, real and intellectual property, and other private resources to support the College; and acknowledging and stewarding gifts in accordance with donor intent and its fiduciary responsibilities. The Foundation plans for and manages private contributions and works with the College to assist and advise in such activities.

The Shelton State Community College Foundation's 2026 Student Investment Luncheon brought together supporters and friends of the College to celebrate the impact of investing in our students and their success.

A highlight of the luncheon was a student panel discussion, giving attendees the opportunity to hear directly from Shelton State students as they shared their experiences, goals, and the impact of the support they have received along their educational journeys.
