Introducing our exec spotlight of the week Trish Collier! Trish is a senior at UA, utilizing her mathematics major to handle our dinero as Jr Treasurer. “My favorite memory from the trip would probably be giving the Christmas presents to all the kids in the village. It seemed like such a simple thing to do, but it was amazing seeing how happy it made the kids and how thankful the adults in the village were. Everyone I met, both in the village and in the group, were so genuine and down to earth. Beginning when we first arrived in the village, with the sign and balloons they had set up for us, to the very last second we were there, every single resident of the 28th of May went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.” If you want to become involved with Capstone Collegiate Missions, an easy way is to donate to our GoFundMe at https://www.gofundme.com/alabamagreekmissions !!

What better way to celebrate another Tide victory than with an Exec Spotlight of the week?!
Jane Whitaker|Treasurer

Jane is a senior here at UA with a double major in Economics and Political Science. Jane's first time serving with us was her sophomore year of college and she has never looked back. If you've been considering taking part in missions, then "Just go for it! If there is any inkling of desire-- no matter how small-- to be involved in missions, just do it! It is so worth the risk. I went on this trip my sophomore year on a whim and ended up loving it and finding a real passion for mission work." Jane was such a great addition to our team two years ago and we're thrilled she's coming back this year to continue to make an impact on our friends in the village!

Spotlight on our Exec member of the week- Cassie Smith! Cassie is an upcoming junior pursuing a degree in interior design. She is serving on our PR team this upcoming year and couldn’t be more excited to share her passion for AGM with all of you! One of the most profound memories she has from the trip was when she witnessed her fellow peers removing their shoes to give to the people of Trapichito. It was truly moving to see a group of college students with an immense desire to serve others. Thank you so much for your hard work Cassie!

Don’t forget to like us on Facebook and keep an eye out for this years application to come out soon!We would love for you to experience serving abroad first hand with us!

Hola Amigos! We can’t wait to kick off the new school year with our first Exec Member of the week! Our Chaplain, Amanda Gafron, is a Senior here at UA majoring in Public Relations. She loved being able to watch her peers take the initiative to work and serve with all their hearts in Nicaragua. “The families and children we met in the villages changed my whole perspective. To us, it looked like they had nothing. But to them, they had love and they had each other, so they had everything that they needed. Their joy and faith was contagious and made it so hard to leave after the week.” We love you Amanda and are so blessed to get to serve beside you!
