Loving like Jesus isn't always easy. It means choosing patience over a reaction, choosing grace over a grudge, and choosing forgiveness over keeping score.

But that's exactly what we're called to: a love that goes deeper than surface-level kindness. A love that covers, forgives, and chooses to see people the way God sees them. So today, pray for the grace to love like Him. 🙏💕

🎉 FUN FACT: Did you know that The Salvation Army and United Way of West Alabama have been community partners for 80 years? In 1946, the same year the organization now known as United Way of West Alabama began as the Community Chest of Tuscaloosa, The Salvation Army became one of its partner agencies (United Way of West Alabama, n.d.). Today, as United Way of West Alabama celebrates its 80th birthday in 2026, The Salvation Army is also proud to celebrate 80 years of partnership, service, and working together to strengthen our community (United Way of West Alabama, n.d.). United Way of West Alabama’s partner-agency history proudly lists The Salvation Army as a “Partner Agency Since 1946” (United Way of West Alabama, n.d.). 🎉❤️
