🚐🐾 ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL TRANSPORT! 🐾🚐

Last weekend, another very lucky group of Paws of Dixie dogs and cats packed their bags and headed north to the New England area to begin the next chapter of their lives! ❤️🏡

These transports truly take a village, and we are so incredibly grateful for EVERYONE who helps make them possible.

🐾 Our amazing fosters who open their homes and hearts and prepare these babies for their next chapter.

🚐 Our dedicated transporters who make sure everyone gets safely where they need to go.

🩺 Our wonderful veterinarians and their staff who keep our animals healthy and ready for adoption.

📸 Our talented photographer who takes those beautiful glamour shots that help our pets get noticed and make someone stop scrolling and fall in love!

❤️ Every single pet on this transport has an amazing rescue story. Some came to us abandoned, neglected, unwanted or simply needing someone to give them a chance. We have watched them heal, learn to trust and blossom into the wonderful pets they were always meant to be. We are truly blessed to be able to play a small part in their journey and help them make their way to their forever homes.

And most of all… ❤️ OUR ADOPTERS! ❤️

Thank you to every family who chose to adopt one — or even two! — of our rescue pets and make them part of your family. There is no better feeling than watching an animal we once worried about head off to a home where they will be loved for the rest of their life.

🐾 30 Days of Happy Cat Month — Meet Sugar! 🐾

Meet Sugar, a gorgeous dilute tortie! 💕 Dilute torties are less common than traditional torties, with their beautiful soft gray, cream and peach coloring.

Sugar was pulled from our local shelter along with several other kittens and is now about 12 weeks old, playful, sweet and ready for her forever home.

Her sister Cinnamon has been adopted, and we don’t want Sugar to be the one left behind. ❤️

Sweet Allie came into our rescue at the end of April, and she’s been patiently waiting ever since for someone to choose her. ❤️

Allie is a beautiful kitten! She’s super friendly and is currently in a foster home with several other kittens, where she gets along wonderfully with everyone. She’s watched so many of her friends find their forever homes, and we would love for Friday to be Allie’s day to be noticed!

🐾 30 Days of Happy Cat Month — Meet Ariel! 🐾

Ariel is one of those cats who makes friends wherever she goes. ❤️ She’s extremely friendly, gets along with everyone, and is so deserving of a family of her own.

Ariel was found as a pregnant stray and brought into our rescue, where she safely gave birth to six gorgeous kittens. Five of her babies have already left for their forever homes, and now we’re hoping it’s Mama Ariel’s turn. 🏡🐾

She did her job raising her babies—now she deserves to be someone’s baby. ❤️

🐾 HAPPY CAT MONTH — MEET OPAL! 🐾

Today we’re featuring beautiful Opal, a young Flame Point Siamese with a soft, gentle personality. 🤍

Opal is a little more reserved than some kittens and prefers affection on her own terms. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys being petted and spending time with her people, but she isn’t currently a lap kitty. She would be perfect for someone who appreciates a sweet, independent cat and is willing to give her a little time to settle in and build trust.

Opal really enjoys the company of other cats and is currently in a foster home with Opie, who has a very similar personality. If you’re looking for a pair, Opal and Opie would make a beautiful duo! 🐱🐱❤️

🐾 Happy Cat Month-Meet Farley🐾

At the end of May, tiny Farley was found in the middle of McFarland Boulevard during rush-hour traffic. A Good Samaritan spotted him, stopped traffic, and saved his little life. At the time, he weighed just ONE pound. 🥺

And now… look at him! 😻 Farley is healthy, handsome, and ready for his forever home.

Sometimes all it takes is one person stopping to make all the difference. ❤️

🐾 Happy Cat Month-Meet Callie🐾

Beautiful Callie is only 2 years old and has already been waiting over a year for her forever home. ❤️

She was found at an apartment complex, pregnant and curled up in a ball outside someone’s door. After coming into our rescue, Callie gave birth to several kittens, but sadly, only one survived. Her little survivor has long since been adopted, but Callie is still waiting for her turn.

She’s a beautiful, sweet girl who deserves a family of her very own. 🏡❤️
