We had an incredible transport this weekend, and we are still smiling thinking about it.

We have so many people to thank, and we want to start with our amazing fosters—thank you for opening your homes and hearts and dedicating your time and energy to caring for these animals like your own. None of this happens without you.

A total of 31 pets made their journey up north to their forever homes, and we are beyond grateful to everyone who made it possible.

Thank you to our veterinarians and clinic staff for the compassionate care you provide every single day. You keep our animals healthy, safe, and ready for their next chapter, and we are so thankful for you.

To our transporters—thank you for the long hours, the miles, and the care you put into getting each pet safely where they needed to go.

To our supporters and donors—your generosity helps cover veterinary care, food, supplies, and everything in between. You quite literally keep this rescue going.

To our photographer and community supporters—thank you for helping these pets be seen, loved, and shared. Your work makes a real difference in helping them find their families.

And a very special thank-you to our adopters who opened their hearts and homes—especially those who welcomed our pets into their families this weekend. You are the reason we do what we do, and seeing these animals finally “home” is everything.

Every single one of these 31 animals is now safe, loved, and beginning a brand-new chapter up north. We don’t take a single one of these moments for granted.

It’s hard to even put into words what we walked into. 💔

A local veteran on disability started taking in dogs one by one, simply trying to help. Over time, the situation became overwhelming, and before he knew it, there were around 60+ dogs depending on him. This was never a case of cruelty or neglect — these dogs have been loved, fed, and cared for. He even told us there were times he fed the dogs before feeding himself.

Thankfully, several rescues have now come together to help, and together we’ve already removed many dogs from the property. At this point, there are about 15 dogs remaining, mostly adults, and our goal this week is to vaccinate every dog and immediately begin getting them spayed and neutered. The owner plans to keep about six of his personal dogs, which we fully support.

This has been emotional and overwhelming for everyone involved, but it’s also been beautiful to see so many people step up with compassion instead of judgment. ❤️

Right now we urgently need help with:
🐾 Vaccines
🐾 Spay & neuter surgeries
🐾 Dewormers
🐾 Water bowls
🐾 Dog food

Some incredibly kind people have even offered to help this gentleman with groceries while we work through this situation.

If anyone is interested in adopting, these dogs appear to be Lab/Collie mixes and they are absolutely beautiful dogs who deserve loving homes. Most are adults, so finding placement may take a little longer, but we know the right families are out there for them. ❤️

These dogs are beautiful, deserving souls, and we are so grateful to be part of helping them get the care and future they deserve. We’ll continue to keep everyone updated as we move forward.

Another incredible group of pets found their forever homes last week, and we couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️

It truly takes a village to make these happy endings possible. From our amazing supporters and our dedicated vets and staff, to the transport teams who help get our pets where they need to go, and the talented photographers who capture their personalities so beautifully—you all play such an important role in their journey.

Most of all, we are deeply thankful for the adopters who opened their hearts and homes. You are the reason these pets get the second chance they deserve.

We wish each and every one of them a lifetime filled with love, health, and happiness. Thank you for being part of our community and making moments like this possible. 🐾

🐾 Kittens Available for Adoption – Local & New England Transport! 🐾

We have several adorable kittens looking for loving homes both locally and in the New England area!

Our youngest babies, the Spice Kittens, are only 8 weeks old. Because they’re so young, they should be adopted in pairs or go to homes with another young pet to help them learn, play, and grow.

Charlie & Gizmo are a bonded pair and must be adopted together—they’re best friends and truly thrive with each other.

✔️ Up-to-date on vaccines
✔️ Healthy and ready for their forever homes

We’re searching for patient, loving homes for seven very special boys in our rescue 💙

We have two groups:

🐾 Group One: Cotton, Fluffy, Pumpkin, all born last June.
All are male, neutered, fully vaccinated, Fiv/Felv negative and microchipped. These boys are shy and will need time to adjust, but as you can see, once they feel safe in their home, they do relax and start to trust. They just need someone willing to give them that chance.

🐾 Group Two: 4 Siamese boys Theo, Milo, Max and Oliver. Also all male, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped fiv/felv negative. Theo and Max are a little unsure at first but will allow handling and being picked up. Milo and Oliver will need a bit more time and patience—but they are absolutely beautiful and very worth it. They do well with other cats, which helps their confidence.

These cats are not “instant” pets—but they are the kind that will bond deeply with the right person. If you have a calm home and a kind heart, you could truly change their lives.

📍 We are looking for local adopters in Alabama only—

We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you who donated, shared, prayed, and sent good wishes for the Greene County box pups. Because of your kindness and support, all 5 puppies are thriving and doing amazing! They’ve even started sampling wet food—such a big milestone!

It truly takes a village, and we couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for being part of their journey and giving them a chance at a happy, healthy life. 🐶💕
