A look back at 9.11 Service Week!
From hearing powerful veteran testimonials during Voices From Inside the Pentagon to
packing meals at the Bama Beats Hunger event and serving local partners like the Metro
Animal Shelter, Table of Grace, and Temporary Emergency Services.
Thank you to all our volunteers for making an impact! ❤️
Connecting with our community and honoring those who serve! At the 9/11 Volunteer Fair,
students met with local non-profits and on campus volunteer organizations to learn about
upcoming service projects and how to get involved.

As part of the Sept. 11 National Day of Service, student volunteers packed and distributed
food through the BamaCares Pantry to directly combat campus food insecurity.
A powerful evening of history and resilience. 🏛️
In partnership with the Blackburn Institute, SGA, and Veteran & Military Affairs, the Center for Service and Leadership
hosted two military officers who shared their firsthand experiences inside the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.
During our Notes for Heroes event, students expressed their gratitude to those who protect and serve to honor local law enforcement and veterans.
Finally, Serving Bama kicked off their service with a full week of action! 🤝
Over 20 service projects took place across the week, bringing student volunteers together to assist with disaster relief, and support local environmental and food pantries and volunteer at the local animal shelter!
