West Alabama Leadership Prayer Breakfast The West Alabama Prayer Breakfast seeks to stimulate, enhance, sustain and nurture Christian leadersh

The West Alabama Leadership Prayer Breakfast was established in 1999 as a pre-event to the Franklin Graham crusade. The Prayer Breakfast has continued; still seeking to stimulate, enhance and nurture Christian leadership in the public and private sectors of Tuscaloosa and West Alabama. The event has grown to have a consistent attendance of 800 area leaders. In previous years the event has hosted a

distinguished list of keynote speakers such as Franklin Graham, Fred Luter, Bobby Richardson, Brit Hume and Laurie Beth Jones. The Prayer Breakfast committee is comprised of local marketplace, government, and spiritual influencers that desire to raise the awareness of the importance of prayer among leaders across all sectors of industry and ministry in West Alabama.

The West Alabama Leadership Prayer Breakfast is proud to announce that the Keynote Speaker for the 2026 breakfast will be Steve Skipper. Steve is the first African-American artist to be sanctioned by The University of Alabama, NASCAR, the Professional Golferโ€™s Association, and the Professional Bull Riders, and is one of the nationโ€™s finest artists. With no formal training in art, Steve gives all the glory to God for his craft. An ex-gang member and drug addict transformed by Jesus Christ, Steve now uses his incredible talents to glorify the Lord.

The breakfast will be held on April 21 at 6:30 a.m. at the Bryant Conference Center.
