The City of Tuscaloosa's HUD Certified Housing Counseling Agency in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue will be having a "Healthy Homes" Workshop on April 22nd 6-7:30pm at the Chamber of Commerce in the Regions Boardroom. The workshop is for both renters and homeowners and will focus on the "Seven Healthy Homes Principles." There is limited seating so register for this wonderful opportunity today! The last day to register will be April 18th. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

The City of Tuscaloosa's Office of Community and Neighborhood Services (CNS) will be celebrating National Community Development Week April 21-25th. During this week, CNS will highlight the contributions that Community Planning and Development (CPD) funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) have made on the Tuscaloosa community to include addressing homelessness, homeownership opportunities, home repair, housing education, youth services, etc. In addition, CNS would also like to use this time to engage with citizens to receive feedback on the needs of community for the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan that will be submitted this summer! Your voice matters and is much needed as the City plans for the next five years for HUD CPD funds! Please review this information below on how to get involved.
